Depression and Low Moods
Traumatic Events and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
Self-Esteem and Self-Compassion
Sexuality and Gender Identity
Personal Development and Wellbeing
Autism and Neurodiversity
Identity and Individuation
Grief and Loss
Cultural Diversity and Navigating the World
Transitions and Changes
The use of Therapeutic Arts Practise also incorporates Play Therapy, Sand Play and Dance and Movement. If you have an NDIS Plan, I am a registered NDIS Provider. I can work with you to identify goals and holistically support your NDIS plan with a combination of therapeutic interventions.

Group Therapy Sessions
If you are looking on behalf of an organisation, school or community group I can offer therapeutic support in group settings. Art Therapy can be held as a group over 4 to 8 weeks. Sessions can focus on a particular mental health concern, or explore themes specific to the cohort. Participants journey and process together. All groups are age and developmentally-appropriate, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and inclusive. Creative and Expressive Arts Therapy engages the whole brain and allows for the integration of cognitive, feeling and sensory processes. Groups can aid participants to:
Express feelings that may be difficult to verbalise
Share in a safe nurturing environment
Improve motor skills and physical coordination
Explore their imagination and creativity
Develop healthy coping skills and strategies
Create new ways of regulating emotions
Improve self-esteem and confidence
Find alternative ways to communicate and express
Identify blocks to emotional expression and personal growth
Groups can also be constructed with a focus on evidence-based group programs I am trained in contact me for a full list.
Connecting Body and mind
Yoga, Mindfulness and MBCT
Rainbow Muse offers mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), a therapeutic intervention combining elements from mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). MBCT incorporates mindfulness exercises such as yoga, body awareness, as well as daily homework, like eating or doing household chores with full attention on your actions, moment by moment. This helps cultivate feeling truly present.
Rainbow Muse can also incorporate Yoga and Mindfulness as elements in therapeutic groups and individual sessions, or when working with young children or teens. Or they can be run as sessions on their own. As a registered yoga teacher with vast experience in mental health and community development settings, Chenai is able to develop programs that meld physical and emotional wellbeing with movements specifically-designed for mental health and grounding.
