About the event

Best friends Sophie (artist/animator) and Lucy (artist/art therapist) spent their youth and teen years immersed in creative worlds and struggling to figure out who they were and how to manage socialising and learning without the language to understand the overwhelm.

They’ve since been on their own seperate journeys of self discovery, compassion, and recognising their own power with art and creativity firmly entrenched in their lives.

They wanted to make a podcast to share their conversations about the sticky parts of life, their belief that art is essential and has been their vehicle for finding safety and connection and empowerment.

Now as they both find talking weird, and Sophie is an artist/animator, they couldn’t make something just word based! Watch the podcast on YouTube to see Sophie’s beautiful and downright cute animations which she makes in response to the dialogues.
